Learn what an Ecologist does with STEM ambassador Helen, using videos and cartoon character Orik the Octopus to learn all about trees!

Using cartoon images and videos, with Orik the Octopus - Nature Explorer – as our guide we’ll explore what animals live in or need trees. We will look at some animals found in trees and find out why trees are important to them. Each animal will focus on a different need. For example, trees provide somewhere to live for bats, nesting material for birds and dinner for dormice. STEM ambassador Helen will also weave in how her job as an ecologist relates to these animals and the trees.

Suitable for primary aged children.
