The finale of the King’s Super Speedy Car Challenge, inspired by the Bloodhound Supersonic Car Project to build the world’s fastest land vehicle took place on 28th June. The challenge involved using an electric ducted fan and high technology lithium polymer batteries to create the car.
More than 12 teams from 8 schools across Kent and Medway took part. All teams did really well, and celebrity Jon Tickle was invited to present prizes.
