Tree Trouble

Tree Trouble

  Primary | Environment | Views: 149

An old tree might be cut town in your town, to make room for new houses. Do you think the old tree should be cut down?

Do some research - what will happen to the plants and animals if the tree is cut down?

  • What do you think biodiversity means?
  • What sorts of wildlife would you expect to find on and around a tree?
  • Are plants wildlife too?
  • Do you need to look at lots of trees or is one tree enough?

Place a large sheet of paper under a tree and shake the tree! What falls out? Do some online research and decide for yourself what should happen!
