    How wide and how fast is your hand?

    Thu 10 June | 11am - 12noon
    This workshop, run by measurement experts at NPL, is very hands on. Participants will think about the pros and cons of using hands to measure distances, and possibly be surprised to find their two hands are different sizes. We will investigate if one hand catches objects quicker than the other.

    Join an RHS expert to tour the world through plants in a workshop that opens your eyes to an array of far-flung places and the plants that grow there. You’ll discover how plants of the desert survive, the clever adaptations of rainforest plants, how hungry plants eat insects and much more!
