What is dark matter, and how do we know it’s there?
Join STEM Ambassador Benjamin Joachim to discover the fascinating world of the Euclid space telescope.
Euclid is currently observing millions of distant galaxies, helping astronomers investigate some of the biggest mysteries in our Universe. During this session, students will find out how Euclid studies the light from faraway galaxies and uses tiny clues to look for evidence of the mysterious dark matter.
Students will also explore why astronomers believe dark matter is essential to the Universe and discover how space telescopes like Euclid are helping us understand what lies beyond our planet.
A great opportunity for KS2 students to learn about space, astronomy and the technology helping us explore the Universe.
