Join STEM Ambassador Nick, a Customer Engineer working at Google Cloud, (aka a “Googler”) for a live talk about his journey into Google. He will explain what he studied at school and what his first job was. Learn more about what it's like to work at Google and some of the common skills and behaviours you should look to develop. Finally, discover more about having a successful career in technology without being an expert in Maths and Computing.

Google is a multinational technology company focusing on artificial intelligence, online advertising, search engine technology, cloud computing, computer software, quantum computing, e-commerce, and consumer electronics.

This live talk, aimed at secondary students, will be informative and engaging. There will be the opportunity to ask questions afterwards.

This virtual secondary school assembly talk will take place using MS Teams Live. The platform has safeguarding built-in to make it a safe online environment, especially for young people, including no webcams or microphones and a live Q&A function which is fully moderated.
