Celebrate Tomorrow’s Engineers Week with STEM Ambassador Anushka, a female mechanical engineer, as she shares her career journey and inspires the next generation of engineers.

Anushka has not always been an automotive nerd, but after choosing mechanical engineering, “because it’s a core field,” she worked with two of the world’s leading automotive companies within her first five years, fuelling her passion for innovation and the future of engineering and mobility.

Most breakthroughs happen because someone dared to discover and turned ideas into reality. For Anushka, daring to discover combined with travelling halfway across the world, opened the door to a career she loves.

Product development in any industry involves loops of experimenting, designing, testing, failing, and improving in the constant pursuit of excellence. That is how one should view life as well, trial and error lie at the heart of both individual growth and technological progress.

This live talk, aimed at secondary aged students (most suitable for KS3-5), will be informative and engaging, and there will be the opportunity to ask questions afterwards.

*This virtual secondary school assembly talk will take place using MS Teams Live. The platform has safeguarding built-in to make it a safe online environment, especially for young people, including no webcams or microphones and a live Q&A function which is fully moderated.
