As part of World Space Week, we’re delighted to be joined by Get with the Program for their Moon Landing Coding Adventure – an exciting live online session, which this year is for children aged 7-11.

Pupils will develop practical coding skills as they create algorithms to send a robot to the Moon, before using selection and repetition to program a launch poll to check if she’s ‘go’ for launch! The interactive 25-minute ‘watch-along’ adventure will be introduced and concluded live by 'Prof’ Jeni Trice and features the upgraded AL the Robot 3.0, developed with support from the Civil Aviation Authority and the UK Department for Transport.

You also have the amazing opportunity to access the Get with the Program age-specific follow-on curriculum-linked activities and worksheets for free to reinforce the learning after the event!

Taking part will help you cover key computing curriculum concepts, integrate STEM into your lessons, save planning time with ready-to-use resources and provide a free, engaging enrichment activity for your pupils!

We hope you can join us to celebrate World Space Week.
