World’s Biggest Filter celebrating World Environment Day

We often learn about how and where plants grow. But what happens when they don’t? In this interactive talk, celebrating World Environment Day on Friday 5th June 2026, Earthwatch Europe, an environmental charity and research institute, will delve into the mysteries of soil and its secret abilities. Together we will uncover what challenges the world’s biggest filter is facing, and how we can nurture it back to balance.

This live talk, aimed at primary children, will be informative and engaging. There will be the opportunity to ask questions afterwards.

This virtual talk will take place using MS Teams Live. The platform has safeguarding built-in to make it a safe online environment, especially for young people, including no webcams or microphones and a live Q&A function which is fully moderated.
