Want to discover more about the built and natural environment? Explore careers in sustainability, architecture, engineering and construction?

To celebrate British Science Week, Class Of Your Own is proud to launch an exciting challenge for secondary schools supported by The Education People and Kent County Council.

We're encouraging teams to design an exciting Natural History Visitor Centre that celebrates the true nature of the Garden of England. Create a building where everyone can learn about local biodiversity and see how it can shape a greener Built Environment. Your building will: - be made from organic materials and powered by renewable energy - be an inclusive building that everyone can use - be Kent’s most sustainable, energy-efficient building - integrating smart technology to monitor itself and its environment - use biomimicry to stimulate everyone’s inner biophilia!

You have until 30th April to register and 15th June to get your submissions in.

Finalists will be chosen on 1st July when they'll be invited to pitch their projects to a panel of leading judges from environmental conservation, the construction industry and academia on 15th July, National Skills Day.
