To celebrate the Year of Engineering and the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) 200 hundred year anniversary, the ICE is holding EngineeringFest. Supported by STEM Learning and Engineering UK, EngineeringFest will take place on Thursday 31 May 2018 during the schools holidays. The event will provide hands on learning experience for 8 – 14 year olds at Diggerland, Kent. The construction based theme park offers a fun family day out - perfect for learning about engineering.

For specific school and community groups there’s a 50% discount. For the general public there’s a 15% discount. To take advantage of the discount, pre-book your tickets by contacting Diggerland directly and giving the reference “ICE EngineeringFest”

Civil engineers are involved in creating important infrastructure in our community such as roads, bridges, railways, flood defences, wind turbines and more. The work that civil engineers do, changes the way we live, travel, heat our homes and access clean water. They are catalyst of change that will help address some of the biggest issues facing society like climate change, population growth and health and wellbeing.
