The Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) are running a CityZen competition for 16-18 year olds offering an insight into the world of civil engineering and the chance to win a team cash prize along with a prize for the school.
The competition runs as a structured activity in the first half of the autumn term 2021. An ICE STEM Ambassador will support the team to completion and can be done in conjunction with a STEM club or extra-curricular activity.
ICE states that the David Butler Competition experience gives students the following:
The winning team will receive a cash prize of £2000 and will enable the school to have use of a wave tank for a year courtesy of JBM Trust.
