Primary Engineer Leaders Award competition is a national programme encouraging pupils aged 3-19 years to identify world problems and produce creative solutions for them.
Asking the question “If you were an engineer, what would you do?,” embeds the idea of the process of creative problem solving as a key part of being an engineer.
This helps kickstart an interest and passion for engineering and through industry partners, Primary Engineer are able to introduce pupils to the real life professionals that lead the industry forward, giving them first-hand experience of what it means to be an engineer.
Registering unlocks access to lesson places, pupil logbooks, guides, curriculum mappings and entry submission information, along with opportunities for the school to meet and interview engineers online or face to face.
