The British Science Association as part of British Science Week is supporting The Big Plastic Count 2024, a Greenpeace & EverydayPlastic.org initiative, aimed at investigating how much plastic we are throwing away. Individuals, families and school classes can get involved by counting all the plastic they throw away in a week.
“By counting all the plastic, you throw away for a week, you can help gather the vital evidence we need to convince UK ministers, supermarkets and big brands to lead the way at global talks that could finally phase out plastic production for good.” thebigplasticcount.com
More Information for teachers can be found at thebigplasticcount.com
To get involved register yourself, family or class
Then get counting from the 11-17th March 2024 to find out your class or household's plastic footprint and contribute to making a difference in ending plastic pollution.
