Connections
To support British Science Week (BSW) The STEM Hub, working with STEM Ambassadors, have created three sets of online materials for use in schools. They are signposted as early years (3-6 years), under 8s (which could be used by any under 8s including early years), and over 8s.
With the impact of Covid still being felt a more flexible approach has been taken so that teachers and parents can find learning materials that most suit their children. Some activities have an asterisk * signifying they can be used by any age group. These might make great activities for home learning.
There are also 10 of the activities hidden behind symbols. There is a competition if you can find the connection between the activity and the symbol – if you submit these you will be sent a certificate and could win a prize if yours is selected as the best answer.

At the end of each activity there is information about how you can submit your work to receive prizes if these are published on the gallery. Have fun and enjoy finding the connections!
