The Jamboree is back with more exciting STEM activities hosted by The STEM Hub. Science Jamboree is a fantastic opportunity for learners to experience and discover the exciting world of STEM.

Science Jamboree is now in its 27th year and be available from the start of STEM Clubs week - Monday 27th June and will run throughout the summer. 

There are 4 main sections to the Jamboree which includes some live interactive experiences in STEM Clubs week. 

  1. Science Lab - take part in Challenges and science activities 
  2. Space Teams - 5 days of hands-on space activities with daily challenges such as the triple rocket test and Space Station filtration
  3. The Explorer - a jungle scene with science activities that link to the wonderful book The Explorer. Learners can experience some of the same challenges as Fred in the story.
  4. Live Talks - which feature interactive talks on engineering, space, and coding.

There will be certificates and prizes for all pupils’ submissions that are showcased on the gallery. Ask an ambassador is also available to answer any STEM questions by e-mailing askanambassador@canterbury.ac.uk. We hope that you will enjoy this event! The Jamboree will also be available throughout the school summer holiday so do share it with parents, carers, giving children opportunities for summer STEM learning in the holidays.
