The STEM Hub is celebrating the work of STEM Ambassadors with a Winter STEM virtual event. In the current times, the opportunity to engage with STEM Ambassadors is again reduced. Winter STEM is an opportunity for students to experience the exciting world of STEM.

Winter STEM: A Licence to Chill involves STEM Ambassadors sharing their roles, South East England Labour Market information and some practical tasks and challenges.

This virtual winter festival is targeted at students aged 5-16 and contains four built-in sections, and offers something for everyone:

  • Water World Show presented by John Coad
  • What’s My Job?, an interactive game to guess what the STEM Ambassadors do
  • STEM Workshops, with practical tasks to do at home or in school.

The event will be available on Wednesday 20th January until February 8th 2021, when it will be replaced with Apprenticeship Week activities.

A planning document for teachers and home educators is available to download.
