The STEM Hub as ESERO (European Space Education Resource Office) National Partner & Southeast Regional Partner is excited to celebrate World Space Week with a series of interactive, educational, and fun live virtual talks and shows designed for primary and secondary students. These sessions will be expertly delivered by STEM Ambassadors and professionals from the space, aerospace, and aviation industries, giving young people a window into the science, technology, and careers shaping the future of space exploration.
World Space Week takes place annually from October 4 to 10. The 2025 theme, “Living in Space”, explores the innovations and technologies needed for humans to live and work sustainably beyond Earth. More information about World Space Week can be found here.
Take a look at the fantastic line-up of talks commencing on 3 October to kick off this annual and much-loved event, and join us by registering using the appropriate links below:
Team Tim | Suitable for KS1/KS2

During the talk, Steph will share her journey to inspire young people, showing that there are many routes into aviation and STEM. Her story highlights curiosity, determination, and creative problem-solving as essential tools for achieving your dreams, no matter where you start, while also emphasising the importance of attracting more females into these fields.
Walking Amongst Giants | Suitable for KS1/2
Join STEM Ambassador Caroline from Stellar Solutions Aerospace Ltd for a special live talk to celebrate World Space Week.Roald Dahl's BFG may be considered a giant, but not when you compare him to an Argentinasaurus, the largest dinosaur to ever roam the planet... until a giant object from outer space collided with Earth and caused catastrophic events that saw the disappearance of Argentinasaurus and their dinosaur friends. Thanks to STEM we are able to explore and understand so much of how we, as tiny humans, are able to walk amongst these giants! Join Caroline on her journey across space and time, to learn how she has used STEM in her jobs as a palaeontologist, archaeologist, uncrewed underwater vehicle (think Boaty McBoatface!) pilot, and as a space terranaut!
