Steph who is an airline pilot whose career demonstrates that persistence and passion can overcome any barrier, Steph began in flight operations and as cabin crew before earning her ATPL and reaching the flight deck. Coming from a single-parent family, she faced financial and personal challenges, but she proved that background does not limit ambition. 

During the talk, Steph will share her journey to inspire young people, showing that there are many routes into aviation and STEM. Her story highlights curiosity, determination, and creative problem-solving as essential tools for achieving your dreams, no matter where you start, while also emphasising the importance of attracting more females into these fields.

The talk is aimed at secondary aged students (most suitable for KS3-5) and is informative and engaging.
