Homemade Marble Run

Homemade Marble Run

  Primary | Structures | Views: 7525

  • Use toilet paper rolls, kitchen paper rolls, cardboard tubes and other recyclable materials to create a course for some balls or marbles. Create a road to send them on their way!
  • Stick your track to a window or wall to make a vertical course, where your balls use gravity to roll along and down to their destination.
  • Use whole rolls to create a slide, and maybe cut some in half to make a slanting road.
  • Your challenge will be to make sure that the joints are secure and stuck together using tape to help the balls roll smoothly.

Equipment needed for this activity is:

  • Card
  • Scissors
  • Ruler
  • Glue
  • Tape
  • Pen
  • Marbles
