Magnet Maze

Create your maze! You could design and draw a maze on paper, or make something 3-D using materials from around the house. Maybe try to use some recycling – toilet paper rolls, cardboard, bottles, etc.
Grab a fridge magnet! If you have a selection of magnets, grab a few and you can test their strength.
Now, it’s time to find something to get lost in the maze! You can use your fridge magnet to test that an object is magnetic. Do you notice a pattern in which material types are magnetic or non-magnetic?
Place your chosen object in the maze and lead it through using your magnet. If you have a few magnets, time yourself and make it a race! Test how far you can move the magnet away from the object and it’s still magnetic.
