Roadworks Warning

• In your local area, there are upcoming roadworks happening that will shut part of your main road. Your role as Community Care Manager is to inform the local people about the new roadworks, what will be taking place and how it might disturb them. The construction involves building a new footbridge to improve safety when crossing the busy main road.
• Use an online map to pinpoint where the footbridge should be – who are the key people you need to inform? This might involve individuals and organisations. What do they need to know? (Think noise, road closures, safety, etc.)
• Pick one of the key people on your list and write a letter to warn them about the upcoming roadworks.
