After a successful turnout of approximately 4,300 visitors in 2023, STEM In the Park is set to return to Memorial Gardens in Crawley on Saturday 18 May 2024. This beloved annual community affair promises a vibrant showcase of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) activities catered to young minds and families alike.
No bookings necessary; just show up and join us for this FREE event and dive into a plethora of STEM experiences. From captivating magic science demonstrations to a journey through space in a pop-up planetarium. Explore the mechanics behind a solar-powered car, board a solar-powered STEM bus to conduct experiments, embark on a journey aboard a cutting-edge hydrogen-powered bus and partake in drone flying tutorials and interactive tabletop exhibits, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
STEM In the Park is designed to ignite a passion for STEM disciplines among young individuals, presenting the myriad career opportunities within these fields in an engaging and enjoyable manner. By instilling excitement for STEM from an early age, our exhibitors aim to demonstrate the inherent joy and fulfillment of pursuing a career in STEM-related sectors.
Visitors can take advantage and seize the opportunity to glean career insights and guidance from many local employers, educational institutions, professional bodies, STEM advocates, and educators offering invaluable insights into potential career paths within STEM, spanning aviation, construction, geoscience, healthcare, and beyond.

Housing an array of innovative and interactive spaces equipped with virtual and mixed reality technology, Crawley College stands at the forefront of training delivery across a range of subjects.
