Working at the International Space Station

Sunita Williams is a NASA astronaut working on the International Space Station (ISS). 

Watch NASA's video in the link below, where Sunita gives us an insight into daily life on board the ISS, from sleeping arrangements, to washing and eating.

Now answer the following questions:

• Imagine sleeping in the ISS – how do you think it feels? What are the effects of no gravity?
• Sunita mentions surface tension in the water that produces bubbles – can you learn how surface tension works?
• How do you think astronaut’s bodies and health are affected by ten months, like Sunita, on the ISS?
