The STEM Hub marked Tomorrow’s Engineers Week (11–15 November) with an inspiring programme of live talks and shows. STEM Ambassadors from fields like semiconductors, artificial intelligence and the UK railway network shared their experiences, bringing modern engineering careers to life for young audiences.
Tomorrow’s Engineers Week, an annual campaign held each November, unites the engineering community to inspire young people and their influencers by showcasing exciting career opportunities in the field.
As part of the week, tailored live talks brought STEM professionals directly into classrooms, offering students a chance to hear firsthand about real-world careers. These sessions provided insights into the daily roles of engineers and the diverse pathways that lead to success in these fields. Over 2,500 secondary school students participated, exploring careers of today and tomorrow. Lively Q&A discussions sparked curiosity and gave students invaluable guidance for their future aspirations.
