How to fly: STEM Careers in Aviation

Join STEM Ambassador Stuart from the Civil Aviation Authority discussing about STEM careers in aviation. Aimed at primary school children, specifically KS2. As an industry, aviation connects families, friends and businesses across the globe. It also ensures the rapid transport of critical goods across the world every day. To achieve this, we rely on a wide range of skills and talents which apply science, mathematics and a host of other topics to real world problems. Aviation is a wide and varied industry with a broad range of roles and job opportunities. In the future we will need skills that don’t even exist today. This live talk will explore some of the careers that are available in the world of aviation and aeronautics today and some of the skills that will be needed to make aviation greener and faster as we move forward.
