Summer of Space | 2023

One of the most fascinating things about space is that we have no definite knowledge of what hides in its vastness. We are continually learning more about Space and to celebrate this we are delighted to introduce our Summer of Space campaign, a series of Space related activities which are supported by our STEM Ambassadors who work within the Space industry.

Future Me

We have captured informative and interesting information from our Space STEM Ambassadors about their experiences to date working within the Space industry. We asked them what they wanted to be when they were 10 years old, a fun fact about their job, their challenges and successes and more to generate a ‘Future Me’ Space Edition booklet that displays what Space STEM Professionals do to demonstrate the diversity of roles and opportunities that are accessible within the Space industry.

Space Ambassadors@Work

You can view amazing video content created by our Space STEM Ambassadors which highlight the multiplicity of Space industry careers. You can experience an insight into what they do and how they do it and hear about the varied career path routes they took to get there. If you have questions please email askanambassador@canterbury.ac.uk and we will aim to respond as soon as we can.
