Secondary Assembly Workshop: Measurement- How wide how fast is your hand?

To coincide with Maths Week England, STEM Ambassador Andrew from the National Physical Laboratory describes what measurement is as he works at the UK’s biggest measurement institute: NPL. He asks students to gather specific information on the width and reaction time of dominant and non-dominant hands to see if there is a correlation. Have a go yourself using a 30cms ruler, paper and pencil and help from a partner.
