On 23rd May 2012 Kent & Medway STEM had a very successful ambassador and teacher networking event in Medway, in which ambassadors and teachers had the opportunity to meet in an informal setting and make connections. The session was made up of a combination of resources and practical workshops beginning with a presentation to raise awareness of the Nuffield STEM Futures project which provides a range of materials to help pupils to think in a positive way about the future of the planet.
This was followed by an opportunity for teachers and ambassadors to learn how to use the STIXX machine and try out K’Nexions material.
The event was very successful and some useful connections for the future were made.
