STEM Challenge Day Chaucer Technology

A series of problem solving activities covering the use of a range of construction challenges. The pupils undertook a range of team work challenges including bridge building and also deigning, costing and building a device to lift a container a set distance from the ground. The component parts all had a cost and the pupils had to design and build, within a budget, Ambassadorial support was provided by Cummins and Jon Tickle spent the day with the pupils providing a motivational opportunity for the leaners.
