 May 03 2021 | Gallery | Views: 2365

An activity from the Environment section of STEM@Home, the Upcycled Art Competition challenges you to create an environmental artwork using would-be rubbish. Go on an upcycling hunt to find materials that can be reused to build something creative!

You can still take part in this challenge through the Environment section on STEM@Home, and send your entries to askanambassador@canterbury.ac.uk

Listed below are the entries that upcycled to create something new:

Image 1: Nancy (aged 8) used recycled materials to create a habitat that would be suitable for a snake.
Image 2: Upcycled milk jugs were used to create these cheerful herd of elephants at Loose Primary School.
Image 3: Year 1 pupils at Loose Primary School reused and recycled plastics drinks bottles to make a colony of penguins.
Image 4: This beautiful classroom display at Loose Primary School was made using plastic bottles filled with leaves, twigs grass, mud, an old box and an old pillowcase!
